We are seeking leaders in the career development sector to join the Standards Council!
The Council stewards key national standards for the career development sector, including the Pan-Canadian Competency Framework, National Competency Profile, Code of Ethics, and the national competency-based Career Certification Program. Join us in working with partners across Canada to ensure these standards remain relevant, accessible, and responsive to evolving practice.
The Standards Council has developed a scoring matrix that aligns with our Terms of Reference and vision. Existing Standards Council members will review applicants and responses from new applicants using this matrix. This approach will help ensure we bring forward individuals with diverse experience – particularly in areas where additional perspectives are needed.
If you have previously applied to be on the National Certification Advisory Committee and were not selected, we encourage you to apply now for the Standards Council. We are committed to building a well-rounded Council and are continually seeking the right balance of skills, experience, and perspectives to support our work.
