Žana has over 30 years of experience in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors of Canada, working from frontline through to the general and program management. She championed projects of substantial scope and complexity, related to economic and LM integration of individuals and businesses, by conceptualizing and growing essential, career-related and employability enhancement supports into high-quality, full-scale, responsive and sustainable operations.

Žana plays a recognizable role in the industry and continuously works to advance processes, tools, and strategies. She specializes in accreditation and qualification information, professional recognition and sector-specific alternative solutions. She is a Certified Career Development Practitioner, Certified PLAR/RPL Practitioner and Portfolio Advisor, Expert in Enterprise Case Management, and in Comprehensive Needs Assessment for Spectrum of Different Learning Abilities. At present, she is a Co-chair of the Career Development Professionals of Ontario (CDPOntario), and since 2014 contributed to the regulatory body of Ontario, the CDPCBO, serving as advisory member and later as one of the directors.

She currently leads a national skills development program, and is engaged in various research and practice-based projects supporting career development through the life span.

Janet Morris-Reade is the CEO of ASPECT BC, where she champions community-based workforce development in British Columbia and across Canada. With more than 25 years in non-profit leadership and a Master of Arts in Community Development from the University of Victoria, she is passionate about raising the profile and influence of career development as a driving force for Canada’s economic and social well-being. Janet works closely with governments and partners to advance responsive policies and funding, always bringing community-based perspectives to the national conversation.

Lisa has been part of the Job Junction team since 2010 and is a Certified Career Development Practitioner. As a workshop Facilitator, Lisa is agile and engaging, leaving her clients feeling inspired and empowered. She believes that everyone has a superpower, and she helps job seekers uncover theirs by challenging them through thoughtful self-exploration to develop the courage and mindset to succeed. She loves cats, fantasy fiction, and frequently donates knitted items to those who need them.

Seanna Quressette,Council Member – Standards Council for Canadian Career Development

Seanna Quressette

Coordinator, Continuing Education, Douglas College

Seanna is a CCDP with over forty years of experience providing front-line, leadership and advisory services in the Career Development Sector. She is also a trained trauma therapist and brings to her Career Development work the trauma lens. Seanna is a past president of the BCCDA (now the WCCDA) and is the recipient of a number of awards for leadership and teaching. Currently faculty at Douglas College, Seanna has been involved in the Pan-Canadian Competency Framework project for many years and has sat on the NCAC – now the Standards Council – for the past two years. She is the Vice-Chair of the Standards Council.
